The campaign of Hockey Odisha in the 8th Senior Men National Championship (Division-A) ended in the quarterfinals when they lost to Air India Sports Promotion Board 2-3 at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh today. Hockey Odisha reached quarterfinals, winning three matches and losing one in Pool-A league.
While Hockey Odisha did well to reach the last-eight stage, Hockey Gangpur-Odisha crashed out from the league stage despite having a number of internationals in their team. Led by Bikash Toppo, the Gangpur-Odisha team lost two matches, won one and drew one in Pool-B league.
